Unfix the Gamine

Returned from SETC late yesterday afternoon. The conference was a terrific experience as I was an auditor this time around and it impressed much upon me seeing so many auditions especially just weeks before the Unifieds. However, between the travel, the bit too much to drink on Friday, the lack of sleep overall, the hyper-networking modality of the event itself, and the time change, I feel... surreal. I am not ill or in pain. In fact, I feel remarkably comfortable and happy about the mild weather today, but  I am utterly weary and yet I am unable to sleep (not last night, not this afternoon). It may be jet lag, which seems an odd by-product of a two-hour driving trip from Atlanta to Chattanooga.
