Unfix the Gamine

Born on April 11th in Ft. Collins, Colorado, 7lb., 4oz. baby boy, Roka, failed to breathe on his own after a very long, hard labor for both mother and baby. He was LifeFlighted to Denver where he received three days of state-of-the-art treatments to stimulate his breathing and minimize brain and organ damage due to lack of oxygen. This afternoon Roka succumbed to complications due to the anoxic brain injury suffered during birth. Roka was our nephew, the son of yamguitar's sister, Dee Amick, and her husband, Arpad Lazar. Many of you, gentle readers, had the pleasure of meeting them at our wedding. Dee would have been about three months pregnant then.
